Actually dah lame nak post this entry, tp memandangkan mase sgt2 tak mengizinkan, so terpaksa hold. Just to share some info about DVT. Actually before this mmg tak tahu langsung pe mende nie. Bile doktor cakap, mmg tercangak2...
In medicine, deep vein thrombosis (also known as deep venous thrombosis and usually abbreviated as DVT) is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It is a form of thrombophlebitis
Deep vein thrombosis commonly affects the leg veins (such as the femoral vein or the popliteal vein) or the deep veins of the pelvis. Occasionally the veins of the arm are affected (if spontaneous, this is known as Paget-Schrötter disease). A DVT can occur without symptoms, but in many cases the affected extremity will be painful, swollen, red, warm and the superficial veins may be engorged. The most serious complication of a DVT is that the clot could dislodge and travel to the lungs, which is called a pulmonary embolism (PE). DVT is a medical emergency, so, all limb swellings, however trivial, should be regarded as a DVT until proven otherwise
thrombosis occurs via three mechanisms: decreased flow rate of the blood, damage to the blood vessel wall and an increased tendency of the blood to clot (hypercoagulability). Several medical conditions can lead to DVT, such as compression of the veins, physical trauma, cancer, infections, certain inflammatory diseases and specific conditions such as stroke, heart failure or nephrotic syndrome. There are several factors which can increase a person's risk for DVT, including surgery, hospitalization, immobilization (such as when orthopedic casts are used, or during long-haul flights, leading to traveller's thrombosis), smoking, obesity, age, certain drugs (such as estrogen or erythropoietin) and inborn tendencies to form clots known as thrombophilia (for example, in carriers of factor V Leiden). Women have an increased risk during pregnancy and in the postnatal period.

Pregnancy
The risk of deep vein thrombosis is increased in pregnancy because of a physiologically adaptive mechanism of increased hypercoagulability to prevent postpartum hemorrhage. However, when combined with an additional underlying hypercoagulable states, the risk of thrombosis or embolism may become substantial.
While the general consensus among physicians is that the safety of the mother supersedes the safety of the developing fetus, changes in the anticoagulation regimen during pregnancy can be performed to minimize the risks to the developing fetus while maintaining therapeutic levels of anticoagulation in the mother.
The main issue with anticoagulation in pregnancy is that warfarin, the most commonly used anticoagulant in chronic administration, is known to have teratogenic effects on the fetus if administered in early pregnancy.

Mula2 kena tue time aku nek tangga rumah aku, tingkat 3...pai jew kat umah, aku duk mencangkung. Time tue kena kejang di bahagian kaki, klu org kg aku panggil mende tue 'sentak mengkarung'. Jgn tnye aku r, mane depa dapat nama tue, aku idop jew, dh ader istilah tue...
Aku kena on Sunday, so Monday tue aku MC sbb kaki rase berat sgt. Selasa aku keje, tapi time tue mmg dh bengkak sgt kaki, so opismate aku suh berurut, sebab dieorg ckp aku mb terseliuh. On Wednesday aku still keje, tapi mmg dh tak larat nak jalan, sampai mkn pon kena tapau. Balik keje hubby aku decide nak anto balik kg nak berurut, sbb kami tak tahu sape boleh urut kat KL nie. Time sampai kg tue mmg dh tak boleh berjalan, nak ke bilik air pon kena ngesot jew.
Esoknye Khamis, pagi2 lagi ma aku dh panggil tukang urut tue. Kami panggil dier Mek kat kg tue. Mek tue urut dari pinggang pai tapak kaki. Pas urut, rase ringan sikit, so boleh r jalan setapak 2, petang dh aku tak boleh angkat kaki langsung. Jumaat tue terpaksa ajak mak aku g Sepital Jerantut sebab kaki dah makin bengkak dan aku nak amik MC. Doktor amik darah, nak buat ujian, so deir bg MC 5 hari.

Yang sangat2 aku tak tahan apabila dalam tempoh 6 jam sekali aku kena ambil darah... Sangat mengerikan...time tue rasa nak lari jew dari sepital, tapi aku tak mampu nak jalan. bayangkan 8 hari dihospital, darah diambil 4 kali sehari...sampai aku sanagat fobia apabila mendengar bunyi troli yg ditolak oleh doktor pelatih tue...Masuk hari kedua, tangan aku da cukup hancur dh kesan cucukan tue, lebam sangat2...sampai doktor nk amik for the next pon dh tak tahu nk cucuk kat mane. Kadang2 cucuk tempat same, tempat tue da bengkak, so darah pon dah tak nak kuar...cucuk lak tempat len...sakit sgt2!
Pas 3 hari, susut kat kaki d mula kurang. Alhamdulillah, dh nampak perubanan...Hari ke 4 aku da boleh pergi ke bilik air sendiri tanpa guna wheelchair dah. Menurut doktor, aku kena continue semua nie sampai kandungan aku sampai 12 week. Time tue aku bru 11 week ++, so kena tggu 3 4 hari lagi nak discharge...Cukup 12 week, doktor decide aku tukar ubat lain (arixtra). Ingat da boleh senyum, tapi tak...ubat tue pun kena cucuk...wei, sape r cipta ubat2 nie, kenapa tak pkai capsul je...knp msti cucuk n ader jarum.Aduhai! Doktor cakap aku kena belajar cucuk sendiri, klu dah pandai bru boleh admit...mendengar semua tue, aku decide untuk belajar bersungguh2 bab cucuk mencucuk nie. Pengalaman pertama time nurse tue ajar, aku rasa nak pengsan. Bayangkan hang nak cucuk diri hang sendiri...sanggupkah anda??? Lagi 1, sanggupka anda, sekali cucuk 3 batang jarum? Ya allah, tabahkan hatiku...
Tapi aku sangat bersyukur sbb Tuhan beri aku kekuatan untuk tempuh semua nie. Petang tue belajar cucuk, esoknye aku da bole dischage. Fast learner aku nie!hihihi...Doktor bagi MC 16 hari..marah aku kat nurse tue sbb klu blh aku nak msuk opis dh, sbb time aku terlantar kat katil hospital hari tue, hp aku tak berhenti call dari opis. Aduyai~ Tapi atas nasihat doktor, aku terpaksa ber'MC' n rehat kat kg.
